The Role ๐ฅ
This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage VC backed startup as Employee #1, joining a Founding team with unicorn experience from DoorDash & Babylon ๐ฆ. Weโre looking for an A+++ Senior Full-Stack Developer (m/f/x) to build our technical function from the ground up, working alongside the CPO to build a purpose-driven product that brings grocery shopping into the age of social commerce.
Key Responsibilities ๐
- Develop clean, efficient, and scalable code that drives all elements of cartd platform.
- Manage the full software development life-cycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
- Implement design thinking to effectively navigate complex trade-offs for multiple end users.
- Lead the technical function as we grow, identifying the latest technologies to enhance our value proposition.
- Collaborate with the CEO/CPO to architect a technical roadmap to achieve ambitious business goals.
Skills & Qualifications ๐ง
- 5+ years' experience as Senior Full-Stack Developer with a keen eye for UI/UX.
- Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Proficiency in Python (Google Colab), SQL with use of Postgres DBs (Supabase).
- Excellent understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience building scalable web applications and APIs.
- Excellent communication skills, working effectively in a collaborative team environment that impresses a strong sense of accountability.
- Thrive in ambiguity, with exceptional problem-solving skills and conviction to take initiative.
