Cookpad

Cookpad is a tech company working to make everyday cooking fun because we believe that cooking is the key to a happier and healthier life for people, communities and the planet. The choices we make shape our world. And when we cook, the choices we make have an impact on ourselves, the people we cook for, the growers and producers we buy from and the wider environment.

From our HQ in Bristol, UK, our small, talented team of  engineers are working with our community managers around the world to develop a recipe sharing platform and cooking community that connects home cooks all over the world and empowers them to help each other to cook by sharing recipes, tips and experiences.

We're a team of exceptional people from around the globe and are deeply committed to what we do, do what it takes, and have a lot of fun doing it.  We deeply respect and cherish the difference of each culture, and view it as one of our core strengths.
Our Core Behaviours guide us and help explain the way we work:
  • Bring your passion. You make each day better than yesterday.
  • Exceptional Candour. You’re straight-talking, direct and transparent.
  • Crazy optimism. You make change possible.
  • Own it. You get things done.

As our founder Aki often says, ""Life is a scarce resource."" We want our team members to have the biggest possible impact in the world, period. We believe that only passionate and purposeful people create a lasting positive change. Not all our people are passionate about cooking to begin with, but they are passionate about the problems they want to solve - be they technical, societal or environmental. We believe that only those who can find an expression of their own passion and purpose in the context of Cookpad’s mission will have the boldness and resilience required to generate the kind of impact we aspire to.

If you're someone who's ready to think big, act boldly and execute with urgency, we want to hear from you.

This is a unique opportunity for a bilingual Executive Assistant (EA) to work with a mission-driven company focused on a sustainable future. Our preference is for the successful candidate to come to the Bristol office every day but we are open to combine some remote work as needed.

About Cookpad
Cookpad is dedicated to shaping the future of home cooking and food as a pillar for a sustainable future. Design and user experience are at the heart of our organisation.

Our mission at Cookpad is to make everyday cooking fun. Not just because we like food but because we believe that cooking is key to a happier and healthier life for people, communities and the planet.

Cookpad is a tech company building a community platform that enables people to share recipe ideas and cooking tips. It’s a global platform and over 10 million recipes have been created by people in more than 70 countries. How we got started.

And we have been developing new products and recently selected one idea to test more broadly, including international expansion. The new product’s focus is on helping people to learn to cook in an innovative way. It is the very early stage of product development, but we are already seeing customer value through their experience and are confident about its potential.
